Jennie Kim, also known as Jennie, was born on January 16, 1996, in Cheongdam-dong, South Korea. Jennie concentrated on abroad in New Zealand. In August of 2010, she joined YG.
Jennie Kim was brought into the world in Cheongdam-dong, South Korea and experienced childhood in Auckland, New Zealand until her secondary school years, when she moved back to South Korea. In 2010, she immediately joined YG Entertainment as a trainee after settling in Seoul. She speaks English well because she was raised abroad. She also speaks Korean and Japanese well. She joined YG when she was just 14 years old, but she has shown that she has a lot of potential. She has likewise worked together with her kindred YG specialists before she was given a role as an individual from Blackpink. Jennie is said to be the group's possible leader, but due to their similar ages, there was no leader after the band debuted.
