NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) - - One individual was killed and three others are in basic condition after a shooting in Newark, as per Essex District Examiners.
It took place around 8 p.m. on Saturday near a liquor store on Chancellor Avenue and Leslie Street. Newark Police and detectives are still trying to piece together what caused the shooting.
Numerous road closures in the area are necessitated by the investigation.
Whether a suspect has been apprehended or a weapon has been retrieved is still unknown.
