Maryborough Car Accident: Teenage Boy Allegedly Driving Stolen Car Involved in Horror Crash

 Around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, police allege that a Mercedes-Benz was traveling south on Saltwater Creek Road when it collided with the back of a Holden. This caused the Holden to veer into oncoming traffic and hit a Mazda traveling in the opposite direction toward Hervey Bay.

Sheree Robertson, a 52-year-old Torquay nurse, was the only person in the Mazda and drove it. She died on the spot.



The driver and a traveler of the Holden, 17-year-old Kelsie Davies from Oakhurst and 29-year-old Maryborough lady Michale Chandler, likewise passed on at the scene.

A second traveler in the Holden, a 23-year-elderly person, was traveled to the Imperial Brisbane and Ladies' Emergency clinic with "various huge injuries".


Acting Locale Director Brad Inskip said the lady was "battling for her life".


The 13-year-old, who was purportedly driving the Mercedes-Benz, experienced minor wounds to his foot.
