Spacex Staship Launch Failure Blows Up Explosion Video

SpaceX's gigantic new rocket exploded minutes after taking off on its first test flight on Thursday and crashed into the Gulf of Mexico, according to the Associated Press.

From the southern tip of Texas, near the Mexican border, Elon Musk's company wanted to send the largest and most powerful rocket ever built on a round-the-world journey. There were no people or satellites aboard the nearly 400-foot (120-meter) Starship.

Later, SpaceX stated that the 33-engine booster's multiple engines were not firing as the rocket rose, resulting in the rocket losing altitude and beginning to fall. The rocket's self-destruct system deliberately destroyed it, causing it to explode and fall into the water.

Rather than a most ideal situation 1 1/2-hour trip with the space apparatus on top stripping endlessly and taking a lap all over the planet, the situation endured four minutes. The rocket arrived at a most extreme speed of around 1,300 mph (2,100 kph) and as high as 24 miles (39 kilometers), prior to going sideways and dropping.

Crowds of onlookers watched from South Padre Island, a few miles from the Boca Chica Ocean side send off site, which was forbidden. The crowd screamed, "Starship lifted off with a thunderous roar." Go, little one!

Musk described it as "an exciting test launch of Starship! " in a tweet. A lot was learned for the upcoming test launch in a few months. It was called a "rapid unscheduled disassembly" by SpaceX.
