American singer, Britney Spears was born on December 2nd, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi in the United States of America.
Spears was born to Lynne Irene Bridges and James Parnell Spears. She shares the same parents with her two siblings; a brother named Bryan Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears
Spears started taking dance classes at age three in her native Kentwood, Louisiana, and was chosen to perform as a solo artist at the yearly performance.
When she graduated from kindergarten at age five, she made her local stage debut by singing “What Child Is This?” She also took singing and gymnastics training as a child, winning numerous state-level events and talent showcases for kids.
At the age of eight, Spears went to Atlanta, Georgia, with her mother Lynne to try out for the 1990s reincarnation of The Mickey Mouse Club. She was turned down by the casting director Matt Casella because she was too young, but Nancy Carson, a New York talent agent, was introduced to her.
